Over seven decades of service, Turner Padget Graham & Laney has grown into a statewide law firm, one whose clients include some of South Carolina's largest employers and a diverse range of business and legal interests. Included among these are manufacturers, financial institutions, healthcare providers, developers, retailers, insurance companies, government entities and many others.

The attorneys of Turner Padget Graham & Laney bring distinguished academic credentials and extensive practice experience to bear for their clients. The vast majority of TPG&L attorneys served either in judicial clerkships or received law school honors through appointment to law reviews or honor societies.

Members of the firm are very active in Bar activities, with one of our members, Elaine Fowler, having the distinction of being the first female elected president of the South Carolina Bar. Numerous members of the firm have also served on the Board of Governors and in the House of Delegates. The firm boasts four past presidents of the Richland County Bar Association and/or the Florence County Bar Association.

The firm has had three attorneys serve as president of the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys Association, and many of our lawyers are active in national defense organizations including the Defense Research Institute (DRI), International Association of Defense Council (IADC) and Federation of Insurance and Corporate Council (FICC).

Turner Padget Graham & Laney has received national recognition as a pioneer in developing quality improvement programs for the legal profession, having been one of ten firms nationwide selected by the American Bar Association to develop a prototype design to implement Total Quality Management (TQM) in law firms.
